At the IDS 2009 with new products and a new corporate slogan

The 33rd international dental show is rapidly approaching and VOCO will also be introducing product innovations for multiple application ranges at the IDS this time. Among the new products is Amaris Gingiva, a gingiva-shaded, highly aesthetic, light-curing composite. Another is Ionolux, a resin-reinforced, glass ionomer restorative that combines the advantages of a composite and GIC. We have already added to the successful Futurabond product family with Futurabond M, a nano-particle reinforced, light-curing, one-component, self-etching bond. Now there is Futurabond M in the equally convenient and hygienic SingleDose blister. Detailed information and demonstrative material for these new products as well as other proven products in our range of products can be found at the VOCO exhibition booths.

Non-Dripping Technology – The new NDT® syringe from VOCO

VOCO research was especially successful with the new NDT® syringe. We have developed the first non-running, non-dripping syringe based on the innovative non-dripping technology (NDT) especially for highly flowable materials in the world. The new NDT syringe permits the products to be applied in exactly the desired amount without material waste. This means a procedure that is not only safe and clean, but also economical. Grandio Flow, Grandio Seal und Ionoseal, proven VOCO products, will also be available in the NDT® syringe in the future. Visitors to the exhibition booths will have the opportunity to test the new NDT® syringe and learn about its advantages in comparison to traditional application syringes.

Special product information regarding "Oral Care" and "Technical Products"

At one of our exhibition booths (booth P10), we will be providing information about different products and equipment for dentists, dental technicians and dental hygienists in the specially set-up areas "Oral Care" and "Technical Products". Visitors to the "Oral Care" area will receive an overview of proven and new prophylaxis preparations (Bifluorid 12 and Bifluorid 10, VOCO Profluorid Varnish and VOCO Profluorid Varnish SingleDose), home bleaching systems (Perfect Bleach 10 % and Perfect Bleach 17 %) and other products, such as Periocur sensitive, the equally effective and biocompatible liquid wound cover for the treatment of oral inflammation. The "Technical Products" area focuses on relining materials (Ufi Gel hard C, Ufi Gel SC), cleanser for impression trays and instruments (Traypurol tabs) as well as halogen and LED polymerisation tools (Individo Light Box, Celalux 2). Visitors to the areas "Oral Care" and "Technical Products" have the opportunity to receive detailed and practice-oriented information about the products presented there.

Lectures in the "Speakers´ Corner"

The 2009 IDS offers a moderated visitor's forum for lectures and product presentations with the "Speakers´ Corner: (Hall 3.1, near the south entrance). VOCO speakers will also hold their lectures there: The topic "Light-curing, glass ionomer cements - a good alternative" will be on 26 and 27 March, 10:00 – 10:30 a.m.; and "High aesthetics with little effort" will be held at 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. on 26 March and at 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. on 28 March. Ionolux, our new product, and the application possibilities and advantages of this material class will be discussed here, on the one hand here. On the other hand, our speakers will spend time on the products Amaris and Amaris Gingiva, the composite system for highly aesthetic anterior restorations. The most diverse shades, shapes and surfaces can be perfectly and quickly modeled with Amaris and Amaris Gingiva, thanks to its convenient handling and simple shade selection, which is based on the natural ideal. Amaris permits natural aesthetics and durable composite restorations in the two-layer technique.

New corporate slogan for VOCO

VOCO presented itself to the international trade visitors at the IDS with a new corporate identity that is reflected in the company's logo and slogan. The VOCO logo has been slightly changed and the "cavity" removed from "V". The VOCO blue is now a little darker and has a more modern appearance. Dark orange will accompany the blue on product information, advertising material and packaging to concisely document the singularity of the VOCO mark and increase its recognition value. The new products that will be presented at the IDS already feature the new packaging design and the other products are being gradually changed over or adapted.

VOCO – The Dentalists

With the slogan "The Dentalists", we are emphasising a standard that was established with "Creativity in Research" and which we also want to fulfill in the future: The development of innovative, high-quality dental materials according to the latest scientific findings and subject to a certified quality assurance system. The slogan "The Dentalists" expresses VOCO's exclusive specialisation in dentistry. As dental material specialists, we only concentrate on this field of activity and maintain close cooperation with dentists.
