Cimara Zircon – repair system for ceramic restorations

Fractures in ceramic veneering are always precarious situations for the patient and the dentist. In most cases rectifying such damage entails replacing the restoration, a procedure which is always associated with time-consuming and complicated clinical procedures with corresponding costs. VOCO offers an alternative solution to this problem with Cimara Zircon. Cimara Zircon is the new complete set for high-quality, aesthetic repairs with composite of defects in fixed all-ceramic or ceramic veneer restorations with zirconium dioxide frames. VOCO is therefore taking into account the fact that the latter material in particular is being used on an increasingly wide scale. Cimara Zircon enables restorations to be repaired chairside intraorally, quickly and inexpensively, avoiding complicated and time-consuming measures such as removal of the restoration, taking an impression and the provision of temporary restorations. The complete set contains all the components required for a repair of ceramic restorations that is as stable as it is aesthetically perfect. The set includes a primer specially developed for the special material properties of the material, zirconium dioxide, an adhesive matched to the indication, the high-performance composite Grandio^®SO as well as special grinding burs for conditioning the ceramic surfaces in the area of the defect. The repair with Cimara Zircon creates a permanent bond between ceramic and composite and has much higher shear bond strength values than other repair systems. Cimara Zircon is a useful supplement to Cimara, the tried and tested repair system for metal ceramic restorations.
