American dentists rely on VOCO products

VOCO products are highly prized by US dentists. This has been confirmed yet again by the prestigious American testing institute The Dental Advisor. VOCO scores especially high on the US market with the adhesive Futurabond® DC, and the adhesive core build-up system Rebilda® DC. Both products were awarded the “Product Award 2011”.

In January, both Futurabond DC and Rebilda DC were already awarded a score of five out of five points on The Dental Advisor’s “Preferred Products” list. Futurabond DC also received the “Editors’ Choice” award.

Now, once again, more than 300 clinical trial applications have shown US dental specialists that Rebilda DC is one of the best products on the dental market, winning the award “Top Core Material 2011”. The composite-based, dual-curing, flowable adhesive core build-up system polymerises quickly and effectively by means of light or chemical curing. Additionally, it offers an ideal shade for every indication (blue as a contrast shade, dentine for aesthetic restorations, white as an aesthetic contrast shade). Thanks to its flowability, packing of the material is rendered unnecessary. The use of a bonding system assures a stable bond. Glass fibre reinforced root posts are inserted into the root canal with precision. One test verdict stated “More control in positioning, less wasted material”. According to the testers, Rebilda DC is easy to finish after light or chemical curing. Almost every test dentist evaluated the VOCO product as equivalent to, or even superior to, the products they normally use (95 percent). The majority of the testers (86 percent) voiced a desire to purchase and use Rebilda DC in the future; 91 percent would recommend the core build-up system.

The US dentists appeared no less impressed by Futurabond DC. The dual-curing, self-etch dentine/enamel bonding agent, reinforced with nanofillers, meets the highest quality standards. In over 370 applications, it impressed with its wealth of positive features. These include, among others, the broad range of applications, fast, simple and hygienic application (especially using the SingleDose), the ideal bonding without separate etching, and the chemical curing in areas where light cannot reach. The Dental Advisor acknowledged this top quality with the award “Top Dual Cure Bonding Agent” of the year.
