Grandio®SO Flow, the new, flowable universal composite

Grandio®SO Flow is the new, flowable universal composite for restorations in the anterior and posterior regions. In the medium-viscosity Grandio®SO Flow, VOCO presents an additional flowable variant to join the high-viscosity Grandio®SO Heavy Flow in the Grandio®SO product line, making VOCO the only manufacturer to offer two universally usable flowable composites with different viscosities. Thanks to their excellent physical properties, these composites are comparable with, or even superior to, conventional packable restorative materials. The material properties of Grandio®SO Flow make it suitable for all classes of cavity (I-V), including restorations bearing masticatory loads. The material can likewise be used for a wide range of other indications, including extended fissure sealing, cavity lining, repairs of restorations and veneers, as well as attaching of translucent restorations such as all-ceramic crowns.

Excellent material properties and optimum handling

Grandio®SO Flow has a very high filler content (81% by weight) and its values for physical properties such as hardness, strength or resistance to abrasion exceed those of many packable materials, making it possible to produce extremely durable restorations. Grandio®SO Flow has high colour stability. The material is available in twelve shades covering the complete spectrum relevant to dentistry. Moreover, the shade white opaque (WO) has an extremely high radiopacity (500% Al). Grandio®SO Flow is easy to polish. This gives restorations a long-lasting lustre and ensures that they retain their pleasing aesthetic appearance long-term. Grandio®SO Flow has excellent flow behaviour with complete wetting of the cavity walls. The material is available both in the non-running, non-dripping NDT® syringe and in caps with pliable metal cannula and can be applied safely, with precision and above all hygienically.
