Grandio® Core Dual Cure - Flowable dual-curing nanohybrid core build-up material
With Grandio® Core Dual Cure, VOCO has added a flowable dual-curing composite, especially designed for core build-ups and the luting of root posts, to the successful Grandio product line. As a nanohybrid composite, Grandio Core Dual Cure also exhibits excellent material and optimal handling properties. With its physical parameters and a filler content of 77% by weight, the composite ensures durable restorations. Thanks to its flowability, Grandio Core Dual Cure settles directly at the margins of the dental hard tissue and the female parts, meaning that packing of the material is not necessary. Grandio Core Dual Cure is dual-curing and is therefore also suitable for the secure luting of root posts. Grandio Core Dual Cure is supplied in the proven QuickMix syringe, which prevents mixing errors as the tip perfectly mixes together the base material and the catalyst. Grandio Core Dual Cure can be directly applied with the QuickMix syringe. Furthermore, the type 4 application tip supplied enables application with pinpoint accuracy, even in very confined spaces.
Grandio Core Dual Cure is highly radiopaque and thereby provides good X-ray contrast to dentine. The composite is available in the three shades dentine, blue and white. With the colour dentine, Grandio Core Dual Cure fulfils the highest aesthetic demands under highly translucent restorations like, for example, all-ceramic crowns. The colour blue, however, enables the distinct reproduction of the transition between the core build-up material and the dental hard tissue, and serves as a base for metal crowns or faced crowns with a metal frame. Finally, the colour white is used with correspondingly light natural tooth colour and allows the representation of the transition between the core build-up material and the dental hard tissue, taking high aesthetic requirements into consideration. Grandio Core Dual Cure can be used with all modern enamel/dentine adhesives that are approved for dual-curing composites (we recommend Futurabond DC). It thereby ensures a secure bond with the dental hard tissue or, respectively, (glass fibre reinforced composite) root posts.
