Quick, clean and reliable Bifix SE – The new luting system from VOCO

Bifix SE is the new dual-curing, self-adhesive, composite-based luting system from VOCO. Bifix SE provides quick and reliable luting of indirect restorations (crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays) and endodontic posts. It is suitable for multiple materials, such as ceramic, zirconium oxide, composite and metal. Using Bifix SE does not require an additional adhesive or conditioner, since all necessary system components are already contained in the preparation. Both dentists and patients profit equally by eliminating time-consuming etching and bonding with a savings in time and increased comfort.

Reliable hold to tooth and restoration

Bifix SE provides a secure bond between the tooth and restoration, thanks to the excellent adhesion values on both tooth substance and restorative. Due to the minimal film thickness, the fit of the restoration is not impaired. Bifix SE polymerises through light and chemical curing. Bifix SE is thus especially suitable for wall thickness or opaque restorations and for all cavity depths. Bifix is also predestined for luting endodontic posts. The very low water absorption of Bifix SE ensures high volume stability. In addition to high transverse strength and compressive strength, this is an important prerequisite for solid and durable luting of indirect, fabricated restorations. Bifix SE is available in three shade variations: T (trans-parent), U (universal, equal to A2) and WO (white-opaque). Finding an optimum shade is thus guaranteed.

Quick and clean application

Bifix SE can be quickly applied in the cavity or restoration without a mess, with the assistance of the several different types of mixing cannulae found in every package.  The specially designed endo-tips additionally facilitate direct application of Bifix SE in the prepared root canal or other difficult to access areas. Bifix SE is distinguished by its practice-oriented working time. With over 2 minutes of working time at room temperature, the dentist has ample time during intra-oral application.  Bifix SE completely cures in the mouth within four minutes and is ph-neutral.
