Dental Advisor - Complete Set from VOCO gets best rating

The Dental Advisor, the renowned United States institute, has distinguished Rebilda Post System, the complete set for post-endodontic treatment, with 5 out of 5 possible points (+++++) and thus the "Editors' Choice", the best rating possible. American dentists tested Rebilda Post System in over 200 applications and were amazed by this VOCO development for post-endodontic treatment. "A complete set with an ideal range," "The best complete set that I have ever seen," "Excellent coordination of drills and posts" - only a selection of the comments made about the Rebilda Post System. The American dentists were impressed by both the range and simple handing of the system components. 64% of the dentists who participated in this evaluation alone rated the Rebilda Post System better than the endodontic product they had normally used and would also use the Rebilda Post System in the future.

The Rebilda Post with dentine-like properties

VOCO presented an ideal addition to Rebilda DC, the dual-curing core build-up and luting material, with Rebilda Post, the glass-fibre reinforced, composite endodontic post. The especially radiopaque, translucent Rebilda Post with dentine-like elasticity, anchored using the adhesive technique, leads to a durable and aesthetic, high quality, metal-free restoration. The development of the Rebilda Post focused on the physical properties of natural dentine. The dentine-like elasticity provides - in contrast to metal or ceramic posts - an even distribution of arising forces and it thus minimizes the risk of root fractures. The high transverse strength therefore leads to excellent resistance to fatigue and fracture of the post and a long-lasting restoration. The cylindrical-conical geometry corresponds to the anatomical progression of the tooth root, which facilitates a preparation that is gentle to the tooth substance. Even the translucency has been perfectly adapted to the dentine. Moreover, Rebilda Post combines outstanding optical properties with excellent radiopacity, high biocompatibility and easy removal.

The system concept

Rebilda Post is a component of a complete, coordinated post build-up system (Rebilda DC, Futurabond DC, Ceramic Bond and accessories). As with Rebilda DC, the proven core build-up material, the new endodontic post consists of a dimethacrylate matrix, so that a reliable bond is achieved under the buildup of a stable mono-block. With Futurabond DC, a secure bond to the dentine is also achieved in a simple, time-saving application. The post-endodontic work is simplified with the new endo-brushes (VOCO Endo Tim) and endo-tips. The innovative endodontic post complete set from VOCO increases the clinical safety, since all of the components are coordinated and at hand when a post-endodontic treatment is required. Rebilda Post is available in three sizes (Ø 1.2 mm, Ø 1.5 mm, Ø 2.0 mm) with the corresponding drills in both an endodontic intro set and a complete system that is designed for 15 post-endodontic treatments.
