Registrado Clear - Transparent addition-curing silicone for bite registration, quick-setting
With Registrado Clear, VOCO is the first manufacturer to offer a silicone impression material for bite registration, which, due to its special formulation, is both very hard and transparent. With a hardness when fully cured of 70 Shore A, Registrado Clear enables all forms of bite registration to be carried out, with simultaneous visual inspection. Registrado Clear is characterised by its ability to hold its shape and dimensions, as well as its stability, which means that the material remains on the teeth during application as well as during curing. Even thicker layers can be easily applied. The transparency of the silicone even enables the light-curing of restorative materials applied beneath it.
Registrado Clear’s special, temperature-controlled curing formula enables the application to be carried out without time pressure and ensures that the curing of the material is only accelerated when the mouth closed. After an intraoral working time of max. 90 seconds, the silicone is cured and the register can be conveniently removed without breaking or twisting. The impression can easily be finished with instruments and can be disinfected with conventional water-based disinfection solutions. As Registrado Clear is not radiopaque it enables X-ray images to be made, without interference from the impression material. Registrado Clear is neutral in taste and odour.
