Simply radiant: Dimanto®
Dimanto®, the one-step polishing system for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing of finished composite restorations, has been awarded top marks by the prestigious US test facility, The Dental Advisor. Following thorough testing by US dentists in well over 600 clinical applications, Dimanto® received 5 out of 5 evaluation points and was also named the “Editors’ Choice”. With this, VOCO has again set a new standard, now in the segment of diamond-interspersed silicone polishers.
Dimanto® convinced US dentists with its simple handling and outstanding polishing results, particularly in conjunction with water cooling. The polishers proved to be consistently stable and allowed for perfect polishing, even after extensive use and sterilisation. According to the testers, a good polish was achieved even with just minimal pressure. The various versions of these polishers offer an ideal range to meet all needs. 37% of the testing dentists rated Dimanto® better than their current polishing system and 48% said that Dimanto® is in a par. Whilst 63% of the testing dentists would switch to Dimanto®, an impressive 89% said they would recommend it.
Dimanto® is suitable for the pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing of all modern composites, including those of the latest generation with particularly hard surfaces. Since Dimanto® is a one-step system, the changing of polishers associated with multi-step systems when moving from pre-polishing to high-gloss polishing is not necessary. The diamond-interspersed silicone polishers are produced to the very highest of standards, are extremely efficient when polishing and also autoclavable. As such, they can be used many times over and boast a very long service life. Dimanto® is used without polishing paste and with or without water cooling. The Dimanto® polishers are available in five different versions: Lens, small and large point, small and large cup. Dimanto® can thus be used for extensive areas as well as for precision polishing of customised restorations. A precisely worked metal sheath ensures simple clamping in the handpiece and vibration-free operation. Dimanto® is available in both an assorted introductory set with a bur of each type and refill sets each comprising 10 polishers of the same type.
