VOCO’s Managing Director Olaf Sauerbier welcomed the participants of the 2011 Winter Meeting and gave a lecture on the course the company will take during the year of its anniversary. About 200 VOCO dental consultants from Europe, Canada and Brazil gathered for the 2011 Winter Meeting in Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven. Lectures on product innovations during the IDS year 2011 were top of the Winter Meeting agenda.

Advanced training in the spotlight at Winter Meeting

About 200 VOCO dental consultants from Europe, Canada and Brazil gathered for the Winter Meeting on 13 and 14 January. The emphasis of the two-day sales conference held at VOCO’s Cuxhaven premises and at the Atlantic Hotel Sail City, Bremerhaven, was on the theme of advanced training on product innovations, as well as the organisational preparations for the 2011 IDS. Of particular significance was the newly and successfully launched product line Grandio®SO. Besides Grandio®SO and key questions regarding filling materials, the conference participants updated themselves on the latest in the adhesive technique and in this regard debated the “generational issue“. Workshops on the tried and tested VOCO products Amaris (highly aesthetic restorative), GrandTEC (resin-impregnated, light-curing glass fibre strands) and Structur (self-curing composite material for the fabrication of temporary crowns and bridges) dominated the practical part of the conference. At the end of the two-day event, the participants joined their colleagues from Cuxhaven in the festivities of VOCO’s Winter Celebration, which at the same time represented the prelude to a very special year for the company: VOCO’s 30th anniversary at Cuxhaven headquarters.
